Agape House Nashville is a place where you can discover your own area of impact, whether you are new to the church or have been a long-term member. The general ministries at AHN are our major spiritual contact points with our guests, members, and the Nashville community. General ministries engage in daily and weekly priesthood activities, pastoral operations, and worship services.

Children Ministry

‘Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not depart from it’The ministry ensures that every child in our community, from newborns through elementary school, is given the opportunity to know Christ’s love in a safe and welcoming environment, and to develop physically, mentally, and spiritually. Children’s classes are based on age groups as follows:

Milk and Honey Land: Age 0-1year - Nursery
Heritage Land: Age 2-3years - Toddlers
Quiver Land: Age 4-5years - Kindergarten
Discovery Land: Age 6-7years - Elementary
Potter’s Land: Age 8-9years – Junior Elementary
Pasture’s Land: Age 10 – 11years – Senior Elementary

Youth Ministry

The Transformers (6 th – 12 th grade)

The Youth Ministry creates an atmosphere where pre-teens and teenagers not only feel welcome but also lead as a major part of the ministry as they grow in the ways and knowledge of God (Ecclesiastes 12:1). We encourage this group to discover their potential and direct their energy into growing their faith and building a successful future.

We provide counseling and seek to answer life questions in a friendly and fun-filled environment that will enable them to explore God and be part of His move in their generation.

Music Ministry

The music ministry seeks to raise faithful worshippers who will bring down heaven, edify and win souls to the kingdom through music. Ephesians 4:11-14. Members of our music ministry lead the congregation into the presence of God, and train members to be sanctified ministers by instilling a spirit of service, humility and excellence.

Ushering Ministry

Act as the gatekeepers and ensure that every worshipper is comfortable by providing help and order during and after each service.

This incredible group of people provides a warm welcome to members and guests as they enter the sanctuary, and are responsible for creating a clean and comfortable atmosphere for every worshipper to enjoy God’s presence.

Technical Ministry

This is an important support group within the church that use various technologies to help the major ministries in delivering their role as well as help the church leverage technology in preaching, teaching, music, and presentation.

From audiovisual systems to streaming, lighting, networking & IT, website maintenance, and social media engagement, this group is an integral part of the delivery of our vision as a church.

Membership Ministry

Our membership ministry has responsibility for members from the first time that we encounter a guest to consistently following up on members’ spiritual and physical welfare up to 3 months after that initial encounter.

This team welcomes new worshippers to the church during service, and during a short reception after church service.

Bible Study Ministry

The Bible Study ministry manages the weekly Sunday School classes and provides resources used for these classes.

Transportation Ministry

As the first point of contact for new and returning attendees, the transportation ministry provides a safe and welcoming environment for members to park their cars, manages traffic at the entrance and exit of church roads, and provides reliable and safe transportation to and from worship services and other church events as needed. This team manages the church transport fleet.
