Our Vision & Beliefs

OUR VISION:

Our vision is to prepare people and fulfill a purpose. The acronym is 4 P’s – “Preparing People… Fulfilling/Perfecting Purpose.”

OUR MISSION:

Our mission is to prepare people for the Lord, to encourage people to love and know Jesus Christ while they grow in their relationship with the Father through Him. Our mission is also to motivate and challenge people to discover and fulfill their life purpose. We capture this with the 5 C’s acronym– Congregation, Consecration, Celebration, and Community.

  • We make silent and audible prayers and praises.
  • We sing and pray in other tongues.
  • We lift holy hands and engage in laying on of hands.
  • We render choruses, songs, and hymns, accompanied by instruments.

OUR BELIEFS: We Believe in

  1. God the Father – the creator of Heaven and Earth, who made man in His image and likeness.
  2. Jesus Christ – the only begotten son of the Father.
  3. The Holy Spirit – the third person of the Trinity. He is our strength, comforter, and teacher.
  4. The death and Resurrection of Jesus Christ – That Jesus Christ died on the cross at Calvary for the sins of mankind, that He rose from the dead in His glorified body on the third day and that He ascended into heaven where He is seated at the right hand of God.
  5. New Birth – Being born again by acknowledging our sinful nature, believing in our hearts, and confessing with our mouths that Jesus Christ died and rose from the dead.
  6. Holy Bible – Is the infallible and authoritative Word of God, given directly to all men and women for salvation, sanctification, and daily living.
  7. The Baptism of the Holy Spirit – is available to all who believe in Jesus Christ and is evidenced by the gift of speaking in tongues.
  8. Water Baptism – Baptism by immersion is a public identification with the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
  9. Blood of Jesus Christ – Shed for us at Calvary, cleanses us from our sin and grants us access to the presence of God.
  10. The Lord’s Supper – we speak of the bread and the fruit of the vine as the symbol of sharing the divine nature of our Lord Jesus Christ. It is a memorial of His suffering, death, and His second coming.
  11. Sanctification – We mean the separation from the nature of the world unto the character of God. It is a life of true holiness.
  12. The Second Coming of Jesus Christ – That Jesus Christ will come again to earth in glory and power; that the dead in Christ will rise first followed by those alive in Him, and both will be in the presence of God for eternity.
